The pair has been observed practicing together, including a session prior to Wimbledon 2025, which commences on June 30th. Raducanu's presence in the stands, supporting Alcaraz during his semi-final match at the HSBC Championships at Queen's Club, fueled rumors about a potential romance, leading to direct questioning at the press event.

When questioned about the dating rumors, Raducanu responded with a straightforward, "We're just good friends."

As the reporter attempted to move on, stating, “I think we'll wrap it up there,” Raducanu playfully retorted, “Way to wrap up.”

The two tennis stars recently collaborated in practice, preparing for their mixed doubles debut at the US Open.

"It was fun yesterday. We were both on court with Evian, just getting some volley practice ahead of New York. I'm really happy to be playing with him. We had a great time," Raducanu stated.

She further revealed that the mixed doubles partnership was Alcaraz's initiative. "Yes, he asked me. He asked me earlier on in the year, and I was very surprised, honoured, and excited," she added.
