Mika Singh was visibly moved while leaving the crematorium after the funeral of actress Shefali Jariwala on June 28th. The singer paused to speak with reporters, expressing his profound sadness at her sudden death and sharing a touching message.

"She was only 42… gone so soon. No one knows the reason – only God knows. But one thing is certain… she will always live in our hearts. May God grant peace to her soul," he stated.
Shefali Jariwala, renowned for her iconic appearance in the "Kaanta Laga" music video, reportedly passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest between June 27th and 28th. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at a Mumbai hospital.
Several emotional moments from Shefali Jariwala’s funeral have circulated widely on social media. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, was seen kissing her forehead and overcome with grief while carrying her bier. Another heartbreaking moment captured Shefali’s mother, Sunita Jariwala, deeply saddened while holding her daughter’s body. Celebrities including Arti Singh and Mahira Sharma also attended the funeral, visibly affected by the loss.
After the funeral, a distraught Parag Tyagi addressed the media, requesting privacy with folded hands. He also pleaded, "Please pray for my angel." Surrounded by police, Parag urged the media to pray for Shefali’s soul to rest in peace.
Shefali's final rites were conducted at the Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai, the same location where actor Sidharth Shukla’s funeral was held in 2021.
