The entertainment industry is reeling from the unexpected death of Shefali Jariwala, the 42-year-old actress and model best known for her role in ‘Kaanta Laga’ and appearance on ‘Bigg Boss 13’. Jariwala passed away at her Mumbai residence in Oshiwara, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding her demise.
According to reports, a post-mortem examination was conducted at Cooper Hospital, with officials confirming that the procedure was video-recorded. A team of five doctors is currently preparing the post-mortem report, with preliminary findings expected soon.
Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation, having already taken statements from 14 individuals. Those questioned include family members, household staff, and close friends, all of whom may provide insights into Jariwala's final days.
Investigators have also collected CCTV footage from the vicinity of her residence. This footage will be analyzed to identify visitors to Jariwala's home and to uncover any unusual activity that may have been captured on camera.
Initial medical assessments suggest that low blood pressure, cardiac arrest, and a severe gastric condition may have contributed to Shefali Jariwala’s death. However, definitive conclusions await the completion of the post-mortem report.
Shefali Jariwala was cremated on Saturday evening at the Oshiwara Crematorium. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, was present and visibly distraught, requesting prayers for his late wife. Family, friends, and numerous television personalities attended the ceremony to pay their respects.
