The scene in question involves Devdas tenderly removing a thorn from Paro's foot. According to Anupama Chopra's book, Salman Khan was present on set during the 'Morey Piya' shoot. He unexpectedly stepped in to demonstrate the scene to Shah Rukh Khan, despite his difficult relationship with Aishwarya at the time.

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali kept the cameras rolling during this impromptu demonstration. The footage of Salman gently removing the thorn from Aishwarya's foot was ultimately included in the final cut of 'Devdas'. This marked the last time the former couple shared screen space.

The romance between Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai began during the filming of 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. However, their relationship ended amidst controversy. Journalist Hanif Zaveri recounted an incident where Salman allegedly created a disturbance outside Aishwarya's residence.
