Hollywood star Brad Pitt has added another property to his portfolio with the purchase of a luxurious home in Hollywood Hills, California. According to The Wall Street Journal, the actor paid $12 million for the residence, which has previously been owned by well-known names from the worlds of music, cinema, and business. The home was sold by Dave Keuning, guitarist of the rock band The Killers, and his wife, interior designer Emilie Keuning, who had initially listed it for $14 million.
Brad Pitt's new house focus on security and privacy
Brad’s decision to acquire the new property was largely influenced by his need for enhanced security and privacy. The actor’s primary residence was recently targeted in a burglary, prompting him to seek a safer environment. “He wanted somewhere that could provide an optimal security system and privacy and this place caught his eye,” report in The New York Post mentions. It is reported that security had been a priority for Pitt long before the recent break-in incident.
Details about the home
Spanning 8,385 square feet, the property dates back to 1989 and is designed in a Spanish architectural style. It combines timeless craftsmanship with artistic details, featuring arched hallways, exposed wooden beams, and expansive glass walls. Quirky touches, such as a sunflower-patterned tin ceiling and a study illuminated by floral-inspired lighting, make the residence stand out as both elegant and character-filled.
About the recent break-in

While authorities have not disclosed the homeowner’s identity or specifics about the stolen items, Detective Drake Madison confirmed the arrests. At the time of the break-in, Pitt was overseas promoting his new film ‘F1’.
